How Can We Help?
Answers to the questions we hear most — ordering, shipping, fitment, batteries, and more. Still stuck? Call 636-355-8787 or email support@golfcartparts.com.
Orders & Payments
How do I place an order?
Order directly here on GolfCartParts.com. Add items to your cart and check out — it takes a couple of minutes. If you'd like help choosing the right part, call or email us and we'll walk you through it.
What payment methods do you accept?
All major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover), plus PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Shop Pay. Your payment is processed securely at checkout.
Can I finance a battery kit or larger purchase?
Yes. At checkout, choose Shop Pay to split your purchase into monthly payments through Shop Pay Installments (powered by Affirm). It's a great option for lithium conversion kits and other bigger upgrades — you'll see your available terms during checkout.
Shipping & Delivery
How much does shipping cost?
Free shipping on every order over $100 — including freight items like batteries, motors, and lift kits. Orders under $100 ship for a flat $16.99. See our full shipping details.
How long does shipping take?
Most orders ship within 1–3 business days. Larger items and high-demand brands may take 3–5 business days. A small number of special-order items are built or sourced to order and can take 4–6 weeks — these are noted on the product page. After shipping, ground deliveries usually arrive within 2–6 business days.
How do lithium batteries and other large items ship?
Batteries, motors, and large kits ship by freight truck. The freight carrier calls to schedule delivery (adding about 1–2 days), an adult signature is required, and delivery is curbside. Always inspect your shipment before signing and note any damage on the receipt — it protects you if a claim is ever needed.
Do you offer expedited shipping?
Yes — expedited options appear at checkout when available for your items. Need something fast? Call us and we'll find the quickest route.
Fitment & Compatibility
How do I know a part fits my cart?
Every product page lists the carts it fits (Club Car, EZGO, Yamaha, ICON, and more). You can also filter any collection by your cart's make and model. Not sure? Send us your cart's make, model, and year and we'll confirm before you buy.
How do I find my cart's make, model, and year?
Most carts have a serial number plate or sticker — commonly under the seat, on the frame near the rear, or inside the glovebox. The serial number tells you the model year. If you send us a photo of the plate or the number itself, we'll identify your cart for you. This is the single best way to make sure every part you order fits the first time.
Will a lithium battery kit work with my cart?
Lithium conversion kits are available for most popular carts. The easiest way to find the right one is Ask Lithium Larry — our 60-second battery finder matches a kit to your exact cart. You can also check our Battery Range Calculator to estimate miles per charge before you buy.
Do I need a new charger for a lithium conversion?
Usually, yes. Lithium batteries require a lithium-specific charger — a lead-acid charger can't safely charge a lithium pack. The good news: most of our lithium conversion kits include the correct charger. Check the kit's product page, and if you're unsure whether a charger is included, ask us and we'll confirm.
How long do lithium batteries last, and how far can I go on a charge?
Quality lithium (LiFePO4) batteries typically last many years and thousands of charge cycles — far longer than lead-acid. Range depends on your battery's amp-hours, your cart, terrain, and load. Use our Battery Range Calculator for an estimate tailored to your setup, or read our lithium vs. lead-acid guide for the full cost and lifespan breakdown.
Can I install these parts myself?
Many upgrades — including most lithium conversions — are a doable afternoon project with basic hand tools. We have step-by-step install videos for every major cart. If you hit a snag mid-install, call us at 636-355-8787 and we'll talk you through it.
Do you sell OEM or aftermarket parts?
Both. We carry OEM and quality aftermarket parts from brands like Nivel, Navitas, EcoBattery, Bolt Energy, Lithium Rhino, MODZ, and more — so you can match your budget and your build.
Returns & Warranty
What is your return policy?
Most new, unused, uninstalled parts can be returned within 30 days of delivery. Some items — electrical parts, batteries, installed parts, custom and special-order items, and mounted wheels/tires — can't be returned due to manufacturer and safety policies. Full details are on our Returns & Exchanges page.
Are there restocking fees?
Some manufacturers charge a restocking fee on returned parts — typically 10–20%, and up to 25% on large or special-order items. These are set by the supplier, not by us, and we'll always tell you upfront if one applies to your return before you send anything back.
Are batteries covered by a warranty?
Yes — our batteries carry strong manufacturer warranties against defects. You can read the full coverage details here: Bolt Energy 12-Year Warranty and Eco Battery Warranty. Have a different brand? Call us and we'll point you to the right warranty and help with any claim.
Account & Support
Do I need an account to order?
No — you can check out as a guest. Creating an account just makes it easier to track orders and reorder later.
