CAN Communication
Eco Battery uses advanced CAN communication to link the charger and the cart's components directly with the Battery Management System — protecting the pack during charging and use, extending the life of connected components, and enabling the EB Power app's live monitoring.
Safety by Design
Gen 3 packs pair Grade-A LiFePO4 cells — the most stable lithium chemistry — with multiple temperature sensors, CAN-enabled charging, and Eco's U.S.-engineered BMS for layered protection during charging, driving, and storage.
Which Eco Battery Size Do I Need?
Eco Battery sizes their Gen 3 packs by how your cart is built, not just how far you drive. Find your cart's setup below — ranges are Eco's own estimates for flat-to-moderate terrain and shrink with hills, headwinds, and heavy loads.

36V cart? Eco's 38.4V 105Ah pack covers stock 2-passenger carts (20–35 mi). Running 72V? The 70.4V 105Ah handles even heavily modified builds (35–45 mi). Not sure what you have? Ask Lithium Larry or call (636) 355-8787.
Skinny vs. Thru-Hole — Which Form Factor?
Skinny
A narrower case that mounts with side brackets in the battery bay. The common pick for carts with a factory metal tray or tighter compartments.
Thru-Hole
Mounts using bolt-through holes in the case itself — the pick for carts with factory plastic trays or open bays. Same battery inside, same warranty.
Both versions are true drop-in installs. If your cart appears in this product's title, this is the correct form factor for it.
Eco Battery FAQs
Will this bundle fit my golf cart?
Each Eco Battery bundle is built for the exact cart, year range, and — where it matters — controller listed in the product title, with the matching harness and mounting hardware included. If your cart isn't listed or you're unsure of your controller, call us at (636) 355-8787 before ordering and we'll confirm fitment.
Is 51.2V safe for my 48V cart?
Yes — 51.2V is the natural resting voltage of lithium (LiFePO4) built for 48V systems. It's a direct drop-in replacement for your 48V lead-acid pack. The same applies to 38.4V packs for 36V carts and 70.4V packs for 72V systems.
Why do some ICON and Advanced EV bundles specify a controller?
ICON and Advanced EV carts shipped with different controllers across model years (Toyota/NEOS vs. ICON MCU), and each needs a different harness. Your controller type is usually printed on the controller itself under the seat — or send us your cart's year and serial number and we'll identify it for you.
How does the lifetime warranty work?
Eco Battery Gen 3 packs carry a limited lifetime warranty from the manufacturer. As an authorized dealer we handle warranty support for bundles purchased from us — the full warranty document is linked on this page.
How hard is the install?
Most Eco bundles install in an afternoon with basic hand tools: remove the lead-acid batteries, mount the pack with the included hardware, connect the plug-and-play harness, and install the charge port. Watch the full step-by-step video for your exact cart on this page before you start.
Does lithium need maintenance?
None — no watering, no terminal corrosion, no equalization charging. Lithium is also roughly a quarter of the weight of lead-acid, which improves hill climbing, braking, and ride feel. Top off partial charges anytime; there's no memory effect.
