Good news first: converting a TXT to lithium is simpler than the same job on a Club Car — no onboard computer to bypass, no charging-system surgery. Battery out, battery in, matched charger, done. The one strategic question is voltage, and it splits cleanly by which TXT you own.

TXT48 (2010+): the straightforward drop-in

Native 48V means the kit drops in: remove the lead set, install the lithium battery and hold-downs, connect, mount the included charger and state-of-charge gauge. An afternoon with hand tools, and the simplest conversion in this three-brand series.

36V TXT (Series, DCS, PDS): the fork

The wrong move is the one between the columns: putting 48V into a 36V cart without converting the components. The controller and solenoid are speced for 36V — this is a system decision, not a battery-only decision. Send the serial and we'll spec whichever column you choose, complete.

The install
